T' Yorkshire Pipe

Sidney SeagullUndersea pipes are needed to connect the oil gas platforms to the land, but they can also carry gas a very long distance, even between different countries.

The Langeled pipeline brings gas all the way from a place called Nyhamna in Norway to the Easington gas terminal on the Yorkshire coast of England. The pipeline is 1,166 kilometres long - over 700 miles!
